Letter of recommendation from our client
The contaminated materials came from various areas within the Peugeot-Mulhouse car construction site. Pollution was mainly TPH (diesel)
Clean-up goals:
The clean-up goals were to reduce the TPH concentrations from 500-12,700 ppm down to less than 200 ppm. All clean soils were in accordance with the target.
Equipement:
Contaminated soils were processed by a counter flow, direct fired LTDU (Low Temperature Desorption Unit) with nominal capacity of 15 tons per hour. The equipment train included a pre-screener, belt scale conveyor, rotary dryer, fabric filter baghouse, thermal oxidizer, soil moisturizer, and stacker. Diesel and recycled oil were used as process fuel.
