Problem to solve:
Our customer has several thousands tons of mineral oil polluted iron waste on his site. He wants to treat this iron waste to recycle it in the steel manufacturing process. So, Deep Green realised a decontamination test on 100tons of iron waste to show the efficiency of the Thermopile© treatment.
Cleaning objective:
The average concentrations of TPH were around 12 800mg/kg.
The concentration objectives in TPH are 5 000mg/kg
So that it can be recycled for re-use in the steel manufacturing process
Results:
The treated iron waste has average TPH concentration lower than 100 mg/kg, which is much below the objective criteria
